Description:

  • In our work for change, it’s easy to push past our limits or to hold back more than we intend. This workshop offers practices to find balance, so we can give what serves our purpose without burning out. Together we’ll explore how to contribute in a sustainable way, and take care of ourselves while staying connected to the larger vision.

  • This workshop is an introduction to politicized somatics. It’s designed both for people who are brand new to this methodology and for those returning to deepen their practice. We will cover core somatic concepts, establish the relevance of politicized somatics, and teach foundational practices that you can bring to your daily life. After completing an intro workshop, participants are welcome to join our weekly practice group.

Access information: All practices can be done seated or standing. Masks are optional unless specified for a specific workshop. If you have had a recent COVID exposure or COVID symptoms, please test negative before coming to a workshop. Sabathani has an elevator, and gendered bathrooms.
