Description:

  • Boundaries are our ability to recognize our physical, emotional, and spiritual needs, and to take action to get those needs met.. When our boundaries are embodied, our words, actions, and felt experience come into alignment. The way we get there is through practice. Come practice with us.

  • This workshop is an introduction to politicized somatics. It’s designed both for people who are brand new to this methodology and for those returning to deepen their practice. We will cover core somatic concepts, establish the relevance of politicized somatics, and teach foundational practices that you can bring to your daily life. After completing an intro workshop, participants are welcome to join our weekly practice group.

Access information: All practices can be done seated or standing. Masks are optional unless specified for a specific workshop. If you have had a recent COVID exposure or COVID symptoms, please test negative before coming to a workshop. Sabathani has an elevator, and gendered bathrooms.
